The trunk displays imperfections
Highlighted now for all to see

They’ll continue to be there for the life of this tree

Tree tells a story both beautiful and good
though it looks tainted, see the truth in the wood
in branches
and leaves
and seeds
which in their turn will become the next
                                      beautiful trees
