Random memory

I’m a little kid. I’m not sure how old, but little. Like maybe 5. I think it’s in Haiti, which means I’d have to be 5 or 6. We’re at the beach, the family. I don’t remember Dad or Jer around, but I’m sure they would have been. I’m playing on the beach, either in extremely shallow water or where the water stops. All of a sudden a big wave comes out of nowhere and topples me. It’s really strong, at least compared to me and I’m basically drowning, rolling around under water. Then familiar hands grab me, pull me right out and carry me up the beach. Mom to the rescue, just when I needed it.
